ICE CREAM CAKE AND FROSTING | |
Any cake mix 1 Jiffy white frosting mix (chocolate doesn't work as well) 1 carton real whipping cream 1 qt.-1/2 gal. ice cream, depending on how much you like Bake cake following package directions. Cool; split 9 x 13 inch cake down the middle, or split both layers of a layer cake (use thread to cut the layers, using toothpicks as markers to guide your cut). Put ice cream in between and on top of layers; freeze. Mix frosting mix and whip cream until almost stiff; frost right away; refreeze. After frosting is frozen, you can decorate and refreeze again. Frosting is not super sweet, a very light taste. |
