CORN & CLAM CHOWDER 
1 lg. onion, chopped
2 cans chopped clams
1 can corn
3 1/2 c. milk
1/4 lb. butter
1 tbsp. Tabasco
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 bay leaf

Saute onion in butter until transparent. Add milk, heat but do not boil. When hot, add clams, bay leaf and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes; add can corn; simmer 5 minutes; add Tabasco, stir and serve. Broth and all! Do not drain.
