LENTIL CHILI 
7 c. chicken broth
1 (1 lb.) dried lentils, picked over & rinsed
2 lg. onions, chopped (2 c.)
2 1/2 c. chopped celery
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1/2 lb. ground lean beef
2 tbsp. chili powder
1 tbsp. ground cumin
2 tsp. basil
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 (3 oz.) cans chopped green chilies, drained
1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes, chopped

Cook at least 2 hours on low.
