4 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

After all of this is thoroughly mixed, strain into an unbaked pie shell and sprinkle with nutmeg if desired. Bake in a hot oven 400-425 degrees for 25-35 minutes or until knife inserted will come out clean. Coconut Pie may be made the same way by adding coconut to the mixture
