CHINESE RELISH 
1/4 c. pitted dates
1 tsp. preserved orange peel
2 c. canned mixed fruit
1 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. turmeric
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. curry powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. sugar
Another 1/2 c. vinegar

Slice dates, cut orange peel in small pieces and add mixed fruits.

Mix together flour, mustard, turmeric, ginger, curry powder and salt and make into a paste with 1/2 cup vinegar. Then add the sugar mixed with the last 1/2 cup vinegar and pour over the fruit. Cook in double boiler until thick. Serve with meats or fish.
