JAPANESE CHICKEN WINGS 
Cut 2 lb. chicken wings in 3 parts. Discard tips.

MIX:

1/2 c. soy sauce
1/2 c. sake
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper
1 garlic clove, crushed
1 1/2 tsp. grated fresh ginger

Pour over chicken wings and marinate at least 1 hour. Can be made 24 hours ahead.

Put in 8x12 baking dish. Bake 350 degrees 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Serve warm or cold.
