CARAMEL ROLLS | |
1 loaf frozen bread dough (regular or sweet) Cinnamon Sugar Raisins (opt.) Chopped nuts CARAMEL TOPPING: 1/4 c. butter 2 tsp. flour 1/2 c. brown sugar 1 tbsp. milk Thaw bread dough. Flatten bread on buttered cookie sheet. Sprinkle with cinnamon, sugar and nuts. Roll up. Put topping ingredients together in saucepan. Stir over low heat until mixture comes to rolling boil. Pour into 8"x10" pan. (Chopped nuts may be added to topping.) Cut bread dough into rolls and place over topping. Let rise to desired size. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Immediately invert pan onto aluminum foil. Cool before wrapping. Can be frozen. |
