BACON STUFFED MUSHROOMS 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 chopped green onions
5-6 tbsp. bacon bits
1/4 - 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 - 3/4 c. Italian bread crumbs
1/2 c. butter
36 mushrooms (stemmed and reserved)
2 tbsp. melted butter

Saute mushroom stems in melted butter and set aside. Mix together butter and cream cheese unitl well incorporated. Then add remaining ingredients including mushroom stems.

Fill mushroom caps with about 1 tablespoon of mixture and put them into a 9x13 pan with a little melted butter in the bottom and bake at 350 degrees for approximately 15-20 minutes. If you would like the tops a little crusty, just before they are done turn on the broiler until they are browned.
