ALICE'S CHOCOLATE SWIRL
CHEESECAKE
 
1 3/4 c. graham cracker crumbs
1/3 c. butter, melted
1/4 c. sugar

Mix well and press into bottom and up sides of a 9 inch springform pan.

FILLING:

1 c. sugar
3 (8 oz. each) pkgs. cream cheese, softened
5 eggs
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 (4 oz.) pkg. Baker's German sweet chocolate, melted and cooled

Blend sugar and cheese well with mixer. Beat in eggs, one at a time, until smooth; add vanilla. Measure 2 cups of the cheese mixture; fold in chocolate. Add lemon juice to remaining cheese mixture and pour into prepared crust. Top with chocolate mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Remove from oven, add topping and bake an additional 5-10 minutes. Cool on wire rack, then chill completely (several hours or overnight).

TOPPING:

1 c. (8 oz.) sour cream
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Blend until smooth.
