STRAWBERRIES AND CREAM PIE 
15 oz. pkg. Pillsbury already pie crusts
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 - 1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 c. whip cream (whipped)
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
4 c. fresh hulled strawberries
1 tbsp. shortening

Prepare pie crust according to directions for unfilled one crust 9 inch pie pan. Prick crust on all sides and bake at 425 degrees for 9-11 minutes.

In large bowl beat cream cheese until fluffy. Add sugar and extract; blend well. Fold in whipped cream. Spoon into cooled pie crust. Arrange strawberries pointed side up over filling. Chill.

In small saucepan over low heat melt chocolate chips and shortening, stirring. Drizzle chocolate over strawberries and filling. Chill until set.

I've made this pie twice now to rave reviews. It's absolutely the best pie I've ever eaten, especially with a few changes based on my preferences. Graham cracker crust works well, and is a lot better (imho), and I think it's a good idea to slice some strawberries to put in the filling as well as jamming them in on top. Today I dipped the top strawberries in chocolate and it was amaaaaazing.
