FRENCH SILK PIE 
1 pie shell
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. butter
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
3 sq. unsweetened chocolate
3 eggs
1 c. whipped cream
2 tbsp. icing sugar

Bake pie shell according to directions.

Melt and cool chocolate squares.

Beat sugar and butter until fluffy. Stir in vanilla, cream of tartar and chocolate. Beat in eggs until light and fluffy. Pour into pie shell. Refrigerate until set, 3-4 hours.

Beat whipping cream and icing sugar in chilled bowl until stiff. Top pie with cream and chocolate curls.
