PUNCH BOWL CAKE 
1 box yellow cake mix
2 cans Thank You brand cherry pie filling
2 lg. cans crushed pineapple, drained
1 lg. Cool Whip
2 lg. vanilla instant pudding, mixed as directed

Bake cake in two layers according to directions on box. Cool and break into chunks. Put half in bottom of punch bowl. Place one can of pineapple, half of pudding, one can cherry pie filling, and half of Cool Whip on top. Repeat same layers again (cake, pineapple, pie filling, Cool Whip). A layer of bananas and a layer of frozen coconut is good too.

May use some of pineapple juice which has been drained from the pineapple as part of milk when mixing pudding.
