COUNTRY WESTERN DINNER 
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour if 1 pound meat is used. Layer in a Dutch oven.

FIRST LAYER:

1 to 2 lbs. lean ground chuck

Pat evenly over bottom of pan.

SECOND LAYER:

1 lg. onion, chopped

Spread over meat.

THIRD LAYER:

4-6 potatoes, peeled, sliced

Spread evenly over previous layers.

FOURTH LAYER:

2 cans dark red kidney beans, drained

FIFTH LAYER:

1 lg. can tomatoes, drained

Bacon bits or strips of bacon can be put on top. Season to taste as layers are made. Bake covered at 350 degrees for 1 hour for 1 pound meat. Longer if more meat is used.
