PEANUTBUTTER CRISP BARS 
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
Dash salt
1 c. peanut butter
2 c. crisp rice cereal
4 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. sifted powdered sugar

Combine first 3 ingredients. Cook and stir until sugar is dissolved. Blend in peanut butter. Stir in cereal. Pat evenly into a foil lined square pan. In small saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar; remove from heat. Add milk and vanilla. Stir in powdered sugar; beat smooth. Remove cereal mixture from pan; peel off foil. Spread top with frosting. Chill; cut into small squares.
