HOT VIRGINIA DIP 
2 c. pecans, coarsely chopped
4 tsp. butter
2 (16 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese, softened
2 c. sour cream
1 (10 oz.) dried beef (torn into sm. pieces)
2 tsp. garlic salt
6 tsp. instant minced onion

Saute nuts in butter. Then mix all ingredients together. Spread in 15 x 10 x 2 inch baking pan. Cook in preheated 350 degree oven for 20 minutes. Serve hot with crackers or toast.
