ORANGE CARROT BREAD 
2 pkgs. yeast
1 c. warm water
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. allspice
1 egg, beaten
3 tbsp. soft butter
2/3 c. orange juice
6 to 6 1/2 c. flour
1 c. raisins
1 1/2 c. carrots, grated
Nuts (optional)

Mix first 11 ingredients. Add 1/2 of the flour and beat. Add the rest of the flour, raisins, carrots, and nuts, then knead. Let rise until doubled. Divide into 2 loaf pans and let rise until double. Bake at 400 degrees for about 30 to 40 minutes.

Note: You can cut down on the carrots and add the whole orange peeling (ground).
