APPLE (DUMP) CAKE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/4 c. vegetable oil
2 eggs
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
3 c. diced apples
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. raisins (opt.)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Put all ingredients into a large bowl. Mix with your hands as you would a meat loaf, gently but thoroughly do not use a spoon or mixer. Bake in an ungreased 9 x 13 inch pan for 1 hour. Cool before cutting. Bake a tad longer for crispy edges. May be served with whipped cream.
