CHICKEN FROM THE TROPICS 
2 cut up fryers or deboned chicken breasts
Salt, pepper, paprika & flour
1/4 c. melted butter
1/4 c. oil
1 (30 oz.) can pineapple tidbits with syrup
4-5 sliced green onions & tops
1 green pepper, cut in strips
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 c. chicken broth
1/2 c. diced, blanched almonds

Shake chicken in bag with salt, pepper, paprika and flour. Turn chicken in oil and melted butter. Place in 9"x13" baking dish, skin side down. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Combine pineapple, syrup, onions, green pepper, broth and brown sugar and pour over and around chicken. Sprinkle with almonds and bake 45 minutes longer at same temperature. Serve with rice. Serves 8.
