RICH AND MOIST BROWNIES 
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

BROWNIES:

1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 (16 oz.) can chocolate syrup
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs. Add chocolate syrup, flour, salt, vanilla and nuts. Pour into greased 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1 inch pan. Bake 25 to 30 minutes.

FROSTING:

1 1/3 c. sugar
6 tbsp. butter
6 tbsp. milk
3/4 c. semi sweet chocolate pieces
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Mix sugar, butter and milk in saucepan. Bring mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Cook one minute. Remove from heat. Stir in chocolate pieces and vanilla. Beat mixture until it is thick. Spread on cooled brownies. Yield: 24 bars.
