CURLY CAKES 
1 full recipe: 4 c. flour
1 doz. eggs
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 recipe:
2 c. flour
6 eggs
1/2 c. oil
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder

Beat eggs very well. Add sugar and oil, beat well. Sift flour with baking powder added. Add flour a little at a time and beat. Roll dough about 1/8 inch thick. Cut dough in 1 1/2 inch side strips. Place one strip on another and press down with finger in the middle lengthwise. Fry in hot oil. After all cookies are fried, dip in hot honey. Do not boil honey - add 1 teaspoon water so it won't be too sticky.

This recipe has been in our family for over 60 years!
