PECAN PIE BARS 
1 pkg. yellow cake mix with pudding (reserve 2/3 c.)
1/2 c. melted butter
1 egg
2/3 c. cake mix
1/2 c. brown sugar
3 eggs
1 c. chopped pecans
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. dark corn syrup

Mix cake mix, reserving 2/3 cup, butter, and egg. Mix well and press into 9x13 inch greased pan. Bake 15-20 minutes at 350 degrees.

For filling, mix reserved cake mix, brown sugar, 3 eggs, vanilla, and corn syrup. Pour filling over baked crust. Sprinkle with 1 cup chopped pecans and return to oven about 25 minutes or until set.
