CHOCOLATE PECAN PIE BARS 
CRUST:

1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter, softened
1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan. In small mixing bowl, beat flour, butter and brown sugar until crumbly. Press into bottom of prepared pan. Bake 12-15 minutes until lightly browned.

FILLING:

3 eggs
3/4 c. corn syrup
3/4 c. granulated sugar
2 tbsp. (1/4 stick) butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/2 c. pecans, coarsely chopped
1 (10 oz.) pkg. Nestle Toll House Treasures, semi-sweet chocolate deluxe baking pieces or 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

In medium bowl with wire whisk, beat eggs, corn syrup, granulated sugar, melted butter and vanilla extract. Stir in pecans and Treasurers baking pieces or chocolate chips. Pour evenly over baked crust. Bake 25-30 minutes until set. Cool completely. Cut into 2 x 1 1/2 inch bars.
