PORK AND NOODLES 
1 lb. lean pork, all visible fat removed
Vegetable oil
Salt and pepper
1/2 c. water
1 1/2 tbsp. onion, grated
1/2 pkg. dry onion soup
4 tbsp. soy sauce
1 c. celery, chopped
1 pkg. frozen French style green beans, cooked and drained
1 c. water chestnuts, drained
1 c. canned mushroom pieces, drained
8 oz. med. size egg noodles
Cornstarch to thicken, if necessary
Additional soy sauce to flavor

Cut pork in 1/2" strips. In a large pot, cover bottom with oil. Brown pork over medium heat. On the side, cook green beans and noodles separately. Add water, onion, onion soup and soy sauce to pork. Season with salt and pepper. Lower heat and cover. Cook pork for 20 minutes. Add celery and cook 5 minutes. Add green beans, water chestnuts and mushrooms and heat through. If pork mixture is too soupy, add cornstarch to thicken. Add noodles and mix together. Season with additional soy sauce.
