BLUEBERRY DELIGHT 
1 pt. fresh or frozen blueberries
1 3/4 c. sugar, divided
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 unbeaten eggs
1/3 c. milk
1/4 c. shortening
1 tsp. vanilla

Arrange blueberries in a 9 x 9 inch baking pan. Sprinkle with 1 cup sugar and nutmeg. Sift flour, remaining sugar, baking powder and salt together.

Combine eggs, milk, shortening and vanilla; add to flour mixture. Beat together and place dough mixture on top of berries. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes for fresh blueberries; or 50 minutes for frozen berries. Cut into squares. Serve with whipped topping.
