3 heaping tbsp. flour
1 c. milk
1 1/2 sticks butter, room temperature
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Blend flour and milk in top of double boiler. Stir until thick. Put in refrigerator and cool. Beat butter 4 minutes, add sugar and beat 4 minutes add flour mixture and vanilla and beat 4 minutes. Spread on cooled cake.
