Lemon pepper 2 tbsp.
Butter 1/2 c.
Chicken (1 or 2 whole fryers) according to family size
Take and melt butter in saucepan after it has melted add 2 tablespoons lemon pepper. Let sit with fire off. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut up fryers if not already done. Place fryers in a baking pan with skin attached. (If need be in terms of cholesterol, cut skin off of chicken). Sprinkle lemon pepper on both sides of chicken and place in oven.
Do not add butter sauce. Chicken will form it's own juices and will need to be drained at least once before serving. Let chicken cook turning at least once for about 1 hour or longer until it is done. After chicken is done take out of oven, place on platter. Put butter sauce in separate dish to be divided as a sauce to dip chicken into. Great served with baked potato and a vegetable.
