INDIAN FRY BREAD 
3 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. or 1 1/2 c. water or milk

Mix all ingredients together. Knead dough until no longer sticky. Cover and let stand for 15 minutes.

Pull off 2 inch balls of dough. If desired, roll each ball into a circle about 1/4 inch thick. Pierce circle of dough several times with a fork. Deep-fry 2 or 3 at a time until bottoms are golden, turn and cook 1 or 2 minutes.
