MERINGUE TEASERS 
2 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla
8 oz. candied fruit mix
2/3 c. sugar
1 c. nuts, chopped

Cover cookie sheets with foil. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat eggs until foamy. Gradually add sugar until stiff peaks form. Add vanilla. Stir in nuts and fruit. Drop by teaspoonfuls on cookie sheet. Place in preheated oven. Turn oven off. Allow cookies to remain in oven overnight or at least 6 hours. Do not open oven. Store in air-tight container.
