STRAWBERRY MERINGUE CAKE 
1 box yellow cake mix
4 eggs, separated
1 1/3 c. orange juice
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. sugar
1 c. whipping cream, whipped
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. chopped strawberries

Blend cake mix, egg yolks and orange juice. Beat well and pour into two greased and floured 9 inch cake pans. Beat egg whites and cream of tartar to soft peaks. Gradually add 1 cup sugar and beat until stiff peaks are formed. Spoon over unbaked yellow cake mix.

Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Cool; turn out on rack and flip over plate. Mix whipped cream, sugar and strawberries; spread between layers and on top of cake. Decorate with whole strawberries. Keep in the refrigerator.
