FUDGE TORTE 
1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
2 tbsp. sugar
1/4 c. chopped nuts
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2/3 c. powdered sugar
9 oz. Cool Whip
2 pkgs. chocolate fudge instant pudding (sm. pkgs.)
2 1/2 c. milk

Mix and press first 4 ingredients into a 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes. Let cool. Whip together cream cheese, powdered sugar and half of the Cool Whip. Spread on crust. Blend together pudding and milk and put on top of cream cheese layer. Spread remaining half of Cool Whip on top. Sprinkle with additional nuts if desired. Refrigerate. 12 servings.

Other flavors such as pistachio and lemon are also good.
