TEXAS HASH 
2 lg. onions
Celery
2 green peppers
3 tbsp. shortening
1 lb. ground round
2 c. canned tomatoes
1/2 c. raw rice
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. pepper

Saute onions and green pepper slowly in shortening. Brown meat and add to onions and peppers. Add tomatoes, rice and seasoning. Arrange in large casserole. Cover and bake in oven at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.
