BEST SALAD BOWL 
2 c. torn head lettuce
2 c. torn endive
2 c. torn Romaine lettuce
6 tbsp. mayonnaise
1 med. red onion, thinly sliced
3 tsp. sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
1 can peas, drained
Pepper, ground
1 c. julienne strips
Natural Swiss cheese
6 slices bacon, crisp & crumbled

Place 1/3 of greens in bowl. Dot with mayonnaise. Top with 1/3 onion slices. Sprinkle with 1 teaspoon sugar. Dash with 1/4 teaspoon salt and pepper. Add 1/3 of peas and cheese. Repeat layers, seasoning each. Do Not Toss. Cover; chill 2 hours. Just before serving top with bacon and toss. Yield 6 servings.
