BAKED CUSTARD 
2 c. scalded milk
1/4 c. sugar
Salt
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
Nutmeg

Beat eggs, milk, sugar and salt. Add vanilla. Pour into custard cups and set into pan of hot water. Bake at 350 to 375 degrees. Sprinkle with nutmeg if desired. Bake until a toothpick comes out clean. 45-50 minutes. 6 servings.
