VEGETABLE HAMBURGER STEW 
1 lb. ground beef
1 qt. canned tomatoes or 2 (16 oz.) cans
1 c. frozen corn
1 c. frozen peas
1 can pinto or lima beans
4 med. potatoes - chunked
1 med. onion - chunked
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. butter

Brown beef in a Dutch oven and drain off the fat. Add the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Cook 1 hour and 15 minutes over very low heat.

Serves 8.

Serve with corn bread.
