CHOW CHOW 
1 qt. green tomatoes
1 qt. cabbage
1 qt. cucumbers
1 qt. onions
1 1/2 c. vinegar
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. canning salt
1 tsp. turmeric
1 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. chili powder

Cut up all vegetables, put in container, sprinkle all seasoning over vegetables. Mix, let stand overnight. Boil 10 minutes. Fill in jars hot and seal.
