CAKE DOUGHNUTS 
4 c. sugar
4 c. buttermilk
8 eggs
6 tbsp. shortening
4 tsp. nutmeg
4 tsp. baking soda
4 tsp. baking powder
4 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. salt
15 c. flour

Mix sugar and shortening; add eggs, then buttermilk and vanilla. To which you add the dry ingredients. Roll out on a floured board. Fry in oil or shortening to a golden brown.
