DILL BREAD 
1 c. milk
3 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
4 1/2 tsp. butter
1 pkg. yeast
1 c. warm water
4 1/2 c. flour
2 tbsp. minced onion
2 tsp. dill seed
2 tsp. dill weed

Dissolve yeast in warm water; set aside. Scald milk; add sugar, salt and butter; stir to mix. Combine flour, dried onion, dill seed and dill weed. Add to milk mixture along with yeast; stir 2 minutes. Let rise until triple in bulk. Grease hands to form into 2 loaves. Put in greased loaf pans; bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes. Brush with butter and sprinkle lightly with salt.
