1 c. white sugar 1 c. brown sugar 1 c. shortening 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. baking soda 2 c. flour 2 c. quick oats 2 c. Wheaties 1 c. coconut Salt Cream together the shortening and sugars. Add the eggs and vanilla and mix well. Sift the baking powder, baking soda, flour, and salt together and add toe the creamed mixture. Mix well. Add the remaining 3 ingredients. Shape into walnut size balls, press them down on the cookie sheets and bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. |
