CORN FLAKE COOKIES 
1 c. sugar
1 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. corn flakes, do not break up
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. chopped nuts

Cream sugar and butter. Add egg yolk and vanilla, then the rest. Roll into balls. Bake at 350-375 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Let cool a few minutes before removing to prevent crumbling.
