PRETZEL SALAD 
1 c. pretzels, crushed
1 stick butter
1/2 or 1/4 c. sugar
1 (8 oz.) Cool whip
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1/2 c. sugar
1 (8 1/2 oz.) can pineapple, crushed
1/4 c. sugar (optional)
2 tbsp. cornstarch

Mix together crushed pretzels, butter and sugar; press into long glass dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool. Mix Cool Whip, cream cheese and sugar together. Spread on first layer.

Drain juice from pineapple and mix with sugar and cornstarch. Cook until thick. Add pineapple mixture to the dish, making second layer. You may like to add another layer of just whipped cream. Garnish with coconut and cherries or pretzels.
