12 med. cucumbers

Pour boiling water over cucumbers 5 times, let cool each time.

8 1/2 c. sugar
2 sticks cinnamon
1 tbsp. celery seed
4 tsp. salt
4 c. vinegar
Little alum

Boil and pour over cucumbers and seal in jars. Makes 4 quarts.
