2 cups (4 sticks) butter, softened
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup white sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. water
2 eggs
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 cups raisins
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Beat softened butter, sugars, vanilla, water and eggs in large bowl until thoroughly blended.

By hand, stir in flour, baking soda and salt. Stir in raisins and chocolate chips.

Using teaspoon, spoon teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheets.

Bake at 375°F for 8 minutes.

Makes about 6 dozen cookies.
