SHEPHERDS PIE 
4 cups mashed potatoes
2 pounds ground chuck
1 onion (diced)
1 package Lipton Onion Soup Mix
1 cup grated cheddar cheese

In a large skillet brown ground chuck and onions; drain. Mix soup mix into ground chuck mixture. Layer mashed potatoes, ground chuck and cheese in a buttered casserole dish. Repeat layers. Cover with foil and bake 35 - 40 minutes and 350°F.
