1 c. butter, softened 1 1/4 c. packed light brown sugar 1 egg 1 tsp. vanilla 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour 1/8 tsp. salt 1 c. finely chopped pecans 2 tbsp. granulated sugar 1 tsp. ground cinnamon 1 egg white Beat butter in medium bowl until fluffy; beat in brown sugar, egg and vanilla. Mix in flour and salt. Spread dough evenly on bottom of 13 x 9 inch greased pan. Mix pecans, granulated sugar and cinnamon; stir in egg white. Spread nut mixture over top of dough. Bake at 300 degrees until nut mixture is set and firm to touch, about 40 minutes. Cool on wire rack; cut into squares. |
