PINTO REFRIED BEANS 
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
3 c. boiled beans with liquid (about 1/3 should be liquid)
1/2 c. non-fat dry milk
1 tsp. salt or other seasoning (garlic or ground pepper or oregano)

Heat oil in frying pan. Add the beans and liquid. Stir in powdered milk, salt, and seasoning. Mash the beans and powdered milk together with a potato masher. Stir and mash to desired consistency, adding more oil and/or water if needed. The combination of oil and powdered milk give the beans the dry quality of traditional refried beans.
