RANCHO BERNARDO INN'S WALNUT
BREAD
 
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sour cream

Cream butter and sugar until fully blended. Slowly beat in eggs. Sift flour, salt and baking soda and add to egg mixture. Blend in nuts, vanilla and sour cream. Pour batter into 2 greased and floured 9x5 inch loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Cool in pans 10 minutes, then invert onto wire rack. Makes 2 loaves.
