CORN FLAKE CHERRY COOKIES 
3/4 c. butter
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped maraschino cherries
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. milk
2 1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. nuts or dates

Mix well and shape dough into balls. Roll in 2 1/2 cups crushed sugar frosted flakes and top with cherry halves. Place on cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes or until light brown.
