CHOCOLATE POUND CAKE 
3 c. sugar
2/3 c. cocoa
2 sticks butter
1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. milk
3 eggs
3 c. cake flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder

Mix butter and Crisco. Cream well. Add cocoa to sugar and cream with shortening. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing after each one. Mix flour, baking powder and salt. Add with milk.

Bake in tube pan in 325°F oven for 1 1/2 hours.

Icing:

2 c. sugar
2/3 c. milk
1 stick butter
1/4 c. cocoa

Cook 2 minutes after it starts boiling.
