CHOCOLATE POUND CAKE 
3 c. sugar
3 c. red band plain flour, sifted
6 eggs
1 c. milk
1 c. Crisco
1 stick butter
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
5 tbsp. cocoa

Cream sugar, butter and Crisco until creamy, add unbeaten eggs one at a time and beat after each. Add baking powder to flour. Add flavoring to milk. Add flour and milk mixtures to batter at alternating times. Pour into a greased and floured cake pan and bake at 350 degrees for an hour and 10 minutes.
