DREMAS BEAN SOUP 
1 lb. Navy beans
4 carrots, diced
2 lg. potatoes, diced
1 lg. onion, diced
1/4 c. catsup
1 sm. cottage ham, diced

Cook ham and beans together until done. Add potatoes, carrots and onion, simmer about 1/2 hour. Add catsup for color, simmer another 15-20 minutes. Have enough liquid to keep mixture soupy. Salt and pepper to taste. A little hot sauce would be okay.
